The FARM Observatory does not replace data-producing institutions. It mobilizes their work, connects them, and puts them into perspective within an integrated framework for analyzing public support for agriculture and food.
Its added value is to bring together support data, budgetary expenditures, support from price interventions, collective services, consumer support, agricultural trade, productivity and food security indicators, in order to offer a more complete reading of public action.
The Observatory aims to facilitate the appropriation of this data by public decision-makers, technical and financial partners, researchers, professional organizations and actors in the public debate.
The Observatory draws on the work and methodological frameworks of leading institutions. These resources allow for a deeper analysis of support mechanisms, placing policies in their context and understanding agricultural and food dynamics.
