REPLAY - FARM Conference at the OECD - January 17, 2023
REPLAY – On January 17, 2023, the FARM Foundation organized a major conference around the theme “Agriculture(s): Time for Mobilization.” It brought together all stakeholders – politicians, researchers, funders, farmers, students, citizens, etc. – wishing to make their contributions to the essential transformations of agriculture and food systems.

The world in 2030 raises questions: its dynamics (demography, urbanization and rural areas, etc.), its changes (climate, geopolitical and geoeconomic insecurities, etc.) and its opportunities (transformation, jobs, etc.). What will be the impacts on the agricultural and food sectors?

The chosen focus is on digital technology, with examples illustrating how the use of new technologies can contribute to the transformation of agricultural systems.

Many farmers still lack access to financing, banking, and agricultural services. The war in Ukraine and its economic consequences have only exacerbated the situation. In this context, private and public investment, as well as the definition and implementation of coherent public policies for the transformation of agriculture, are therefore essential.
