Undertaking the digital transformation of agriculture: three illustrations

Private initiatives, both large and small, are shaping and transforming the way food is produced, processed, and distributed. Entrepreneurship is essential to transforming the world's agriculture in the face of the multiple challenges facing our societies. Digital technology, provided it is accessible to as many people as possible, can be a tool that serves producers and entrepreneurs.

The guests of the FARM Conference on January 17, 2023 explore, using three examples, the ability of digital technology to accelerate transitions. Christian Huyghe (INRAE) and Marc Debets (Apexagri) emphasized the need to "create communities" around digital technology while "sharing knowledge" among all around a "sustainability path," a source of pride for entrepreneurs.
