There FARM 2023 Conference at the OECD was a key moment, exploring in particular the issue of agroecological intensification. The discussions highlighted the importance of reconciling agricultural productivity and environmental preservation, particularly in the countries of the South where the use of inputs remains ten times lower than in the countries of the North.
Strategic partnerships
The year was marked by major collaborations:
- A study with Afdi on the resilience of African agriculture in the face of price shocks
- The PRETAG Initiative on the Reduction of Pesticides in Tropical Agriculture
- A partnership with the “4 per 1000” Initiative on soil protection
Thematic publications
The booklet presents the Foundation's analyses around three axes:
- Food and nutrition security, with a focus on the impact of the war in Ukraine
- Agricultural sectors, from producer to market
- The resilience of rural areas, particularly in the face of droughts in the Mediterranean
Radiation
The Foundation has strengthened its media presence and developed its Observatory, producing benchmark analyses on public support for agriculture. The Transition(s) program also provided an opportunity to explore these themes in greater depth across three issues.
