In the Global South, agricultural development and food security are crucial issues that shape the lives of millions of people, from producers to consumers. Faced with demographic, economic, climatic, and geopolitical challenges, a paradigm shift toward productive and sustainable agricultural models is essential. These models must accelerate agroecological transformation, protect biodiversity and soils, while strengthening social equity and fair remuneration for producers in a context of strengthening food sovereignty.<\/p>\n

La Fondation FARM lance la 3\u00e8me \u00e9dition<\/strong> of its annual Prize, rewarding researchers who, through their scientific and societal commitment, make a concrete contribution to improving the living conditions of rural populations and to the development of sustainable food systems in countries of the South.<\/p>\n

The Prize will reward researchers whose work demonstrates a concrete impact in countries of the South.<\/strong>, either through field collaborations with local stakeholders (companies, agricultural organizations, NGOs), or through their contribution to public policies. They must illustrate how their research has influenced practical actions or important decisions among public and private stakeholders.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n \n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

Laur\u00e9ate 2026 : une chercheuse malgache r\u00e9compens\u00e9e pour son engagement en faveur de la sant\u00e9 des plantes<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Le Prix FARM 2026 a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9cern\u00e9 le 17 f\u00e9vrier 2026 \u00e0 Santatra Ravelomanantsoa<\/strong>, docteure en biologie des populations et phytopathologie et cheffe du d\u00e9partement de recherche agronomique du FOFIFA <\/strong>\u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 d’Antananarivo<\/a>, elle d\u00e9fend une approche fond\u00e9e sur la co\u2011construction avec les producteurs.<\/p>\n

S\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 parmi 30 candidatures, le jury a salu\u00e9 son engagement sur le terrain et la qualit\u00e9 de ses travaux pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire et la r\u00e9silience des syst\u00e8mes agricoles dans l\u2019oc\u00e9an Indien.<\/p>\n
