Several criticisms are leveled at them, whether it be their environmental impact or the increasing land area they require for animal feed.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, if practiced sustainably and integrated into virtuous value chains, livestock farming has many positive effects on the socio-economic level as well as on soil fertilization and biodiversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this&nbsp;<strong>4th issue of the Transition(s) show<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>produced in partnership with Inter-r\u00e9seaux<\/strong>, we wonder about the conditions under which&nbsp;<strong>Livestock farming can contribute to a systemic agroecological transformation<\/strong>What is the state of livestock farming in the countries of the South and the North? What role should it play in agricultural systems?
